Event: Initial briefing meeting for a new ESA-Shell project on Development of Standards and Guidelines for the Use of Satellite-based Ice Information in the Oil and Gas Sector
Date/Time: 1 May 2012, 0730-0930hrs
Location: Shell Bellaire Technology Center, 3737 Bellaire Boulevard, Houston. The facility chosen for the briefing is VC-capable for those unable to attend in person.
Interested parties are invited, on behalf of the project proponents, to attend a kickoff meeting of a new multi-phase project to investigate ice charting standards for the oil and gas industry. The first phase is funded by the European Space Agency, with support from Shell.
